Street Vendors
Janpahal fosters the formation of collectives among street vendors and empowers them to develop strong leadership skills.
Humanitarian Support
During the pandemic, Janpahal played a significant role in providing humanitarian assistance. We actively distributed food, operated community kitchens, and conducted training programs, all aimed at supporting those in need during these challenging times.
Labourline
India Labourline (ILL) is a helpline and organization in Delhi NCR providing support to migrant workers and those in the informal sector. We offer assistance with wage theft, workplace harassment, compensation for workplace accidents, and access to provident fund and gratuity benefits.
Homeless Center
Janpahal actively manages Shelter Homes in partnership with the Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board (DUSIB), under the Government of National Capital Territory (GNCT) of Delhi.
Food Safety Training
Janpahal is the PAN India training partner for Food Safety Training and Certification, in collaboration with FSSAI under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, GOI. Our programs ensure high-quality training and certifications to promote food safety nationwide.
Women Empowerment
Janpahal successfully organized and facilitated the Mahila Panchayat in collaboration with the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW).
Children
Janpahal is a member of the Neev Delhi Forces, a collective of 45 NGOs in Delhi dedicated to advocating for the rights of children. Our mission is to bring about positive changes in policies, legislations, and services to ensure better outcomes for young children.
Platform & Warehouse Workers
Occupation Health and Safety of the warehouse workers in the warehouses of the app based platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart etc. and social protection of the platform workers known also as Gig Workers associated with app based platforms such as Amflex, Swiggy,Zomato, Urban Company, Yes Madam, Zepto, Rapido, Ola, Uber, InDrive etc; in delivering food, parcels and services; is one of the key concern of Janpahal that has been nurturing collectivization of these warehouse workers and platform workers for realizing the best standards in occupational health and safety, social security, data security and job security.
